About House Corporation

Our house has been a centerpiece of sorority life since 1955 and has been maintained with care and appreciation for over sixty years. The Gamma Iota House Corporation is a board of alumnae and sisters who make decisions about the management of the chapter house. It is often referred to as House Corp.

All sisters contribute funds as a member of Alpha Delta Pi to help with the upkeep of the Chapter House.  All new members pay a one-time House Corporation membership fee which entitles sisters to lifetime membership in the Corporation.

House Corp meetings are held no less than four times a year, including an Annual Meeting typically, in April.  All sisters and alumnae are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting.

The House Corp Board coordinates the management for the property including employment of staff, long-term finances, maintenance and upkeep, and more. There are several committees that support different House Corp initiatives, as well as numerous opportunities to serve.
