The Gamma Iota House Corporation is a board of alumnae and sisters who make decisions about the management of the Chapter house. The House Corp board coordinates the management of the Chapter house including employment of staff, long-term finances, maintenance and upkeep, and more (such as the decision to build our new home). The House Corporation board meets quarterly.
We benefit from the guidance of our sisters and alumnae to ensure that we best serve Gamma Iota. Several committees support House Corp initiatives, providing opportunities for alumnae to serve. Volunteering with the Gamma Iota House Corporation is a rewarding experience and opportunity to “give back.” The time commitment can be adjusted to the alumna’s availability.
