The Chapter is planning a day-long event on Sunday, April 7, to celebrate the incredible history of our beloved Chapter House. This event includes an Open House for time to reminisce, a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Chapter House, and a luncheon at the newly renovated Reitz Union.

This year, Gamma Iota will be celebrating our 70th Anniversary at our annual Alumni Reunion on Friday, September 7th to Saturday, September 8th.
Friday, September 7th, will be informal decade dinners and happy hours to give you flexibility for travel and to allow you time catch up with sisters.
On Saturday, September 8th, tours of the house and a continental breakfast will begin at 10:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. Starting at 12:00 pm, there will be a tented tailgate on the Reitz Union Lawn where one meal and heavy tailgate appetizers will be served. The Gators take on UK at 7:30 pm. The night game will allow for us to have plenty of time to catch up and celebrate together (and be out of the sun for the game!).

Curious about what sorority rush is like now? Our next Gamma Iota Alumnae Association General Meeting will focus on Recruitment. Chapter Recruitment Adviser Kristen Barker and the current Recruitment and Marketing Vice President will join us to answer your questions and share ways we as alumnae can recommend potential new members and help the chapter.
The General Meeting will be held Sunday, July 22nd, at 7pm, via GoTo Meeting. Agenda items will include reports from each of the Board members and committees, an update on the 70th Anniversary and Fall Reunion event, and a presentation and Q&A time with the Chapter Recruitment Adviser.
To participate you must pre-register by Saturday, July 21. Registered members will receive an email with meeting call-in information. Live participation is limited to the first 40 registered members, but the meeting will be recorded and available for review.
Tune in to the UF ADPi Alumnae Facebook group during May as sisters from across the decades share why Alpha Delta Pi is a way of life for them. During the month of May, we will also hold our annual membership drive. Be looking for a mailing the first week of May with all the details.

The Annual Meeting for the Gamma Iota House Corp was held on Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 PM in the TV Room at the house. We will be posting updates from the House Corp Annual Meeting and introducing the new House Corp officers in the coming weeks.

Saturday, September 30, 9:30am-4:30pm - Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Tailgate before and AFTER the UF-Vanderbilt game
Join us beginning at 9:30am on the Reitz Union lawn for a special tailgate gathering. We've contracted Tailgate Guys to provide a premium tailgate experience, including TVs, fans, tables and chairs, etc. We will be providing a light lunch and some basic beverages, but you are encouraged to bring your own tailgate refreshments, as well.
Please remember that parking on campus is very limited on Game Days—it pays to be early or consider using a ride share service! The closest general parking lot is at the corner of Museum Road and Center Drive. For more information on Game Day parking, visit FloridaGators.com.

The GIAA is helping the chapter recruitment team host a Spirit Week kickoff breakfast on Wednesday, August 9th. Alumnae are needed to provide food and decorations and to setup and serve. We are hoping to provide a simple, but festive, brunch of bagels, donuts, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, etc., for approximately 150 sisters.

Agenda items will include Bylaw review and approval, reports from each of the Board members and committees, and updates from the Chapter Recruitment Advisor and from the House Corporation.

During the month of May, we will also hold our a membership drive. Sisters who join during 2016 and 2017 will become Charter Members of the Gamma Iota Alumnae Association. Sisters who become Charter Lifetime Members will receive special recognition in the Chapter House. A special Young Alumnae membership with a reduced fee will be offered for recent graduates.
